Is News Trap the same as Metals Hunter or Futures CEX bots?
No. News Trap runs on your MetaTrader 5 terminal via an EA bridge. It never votes, averages, or fuses with the twelve Futures engines. No futures_* cards, no CCXT rail.
Which plans unlock News Trap?
CEX Trader, Combo, and Developer (plus enterprise / legacy pro-vip aliases). Desk features open calendar, next arms, cycles, and performance; the bot feature unlocks live enable, bridge token, kill/pause, and symbol toggles. Free and DEX-only plans stay locked.
How does entry work?
Before a high-impact calendar print (default 120s), the worker places a dual ladder: many BUY STOP and SELL STOP levels spaced by 1m ATR. First valid fill locks direction; the opposite side is cancelled or managed.
How does exit / sizing work after the lock?
TP and SL distances are ATR multiples from settings. Optional trailing. Pyramid adds into winners and/or martingale on adverse moves — both user-configurable with event and daily loss caps.
Which symbols?
Default ON: XAUUSD, XAGUSD, EURUSD, GBPUSD, USDJPY, USDCHF, AUDUSD, USDCAD, NZDUSD. You toggle every broker symbol the EA discovers. Arms map by event currency (e.g. USD news → gold/silver + USD pairs you enabled).
